$255 which im only kind of considering

I was leaning towards the ruger, but I found this buck mark model that I like as well.... I know they are both good guns, and Im pretty sure I cant go wrong with either, but I felt like making a poll :) Also if anyone knows of any place with a lower price I wouldnt mind :). I checked locally and i cant find these for anywhere within 80 dollars of these prices.... how much fees will it typically cost to get the gun from an online shop to somewhere nearby (another gun shop?) not familiar with this process.

I added the neos at the last moment because i accidentally made a 4 poll.

Hrm I voted for the Neos even though I dont like it, minus that vote its split, 2 2 2 2 , any voters feel free to voice your opinion why one is preferred over another.

I've had a Neos and a Sig Trailside and a Ruger MkII and Ruger 22/45 and a Browning Buckmark. The only one that I thought was worth keeping was the Buckmark.

I owned a Ruger and I didn't like it. The takedown was not user friendly, it was bulky for a .22LR pistol, and it did not handle well for me. I know there are a ton of aftermarket parts to make it a better gun, but if I wanted to spend more money on .22LR pistol, I would've bought a higher end gun from the start. That's not to say it's not a good gun for others (particularly those who want to build and tweak a gun), but it did not work well for me.

For an entry level plinker, the Neos does a good job and offers a good package for the price. The gun has good accuracy. The gun's safety is put in an awkward place and some feel the gun's out of box trigger can require a little tuning, but the gun has some nice features. The takedown is a snap, there is an integrated rail for optics, and the Deluxe models come with different sets of sights that the purchaser can swap out according to preference. If Beretta ever gets their Neos carbine kit to the market place, the gun would probably pick up a better following.

Regarding the Browning, I seriously considered getting one for a bit, but it did not fit my hand well. In my experience, if a person does not like the feel of a gun's grip it's almost always going to be an uphill battle for the person to enjoy shooting the firearm.

YMMV

I have yet to feel a Neos or a browning... I didnt mind the ruger, but the Neos has a :what: look to it, that Im not sure if I like or dislike heh

The Neos is the one to get if you want to play with optical sights. Put on a Red Dot optic and it looks much better! :)

Hard to beat for fast shooting -- makes me feel like Jerry Miklic (sp??) when I hit the last steel plate before the first has finished falling, they do fall rather slowly from .22LR hits :) but its great fun!

I do wish the safety rotated the "right" direction (like a 1911).

Don't aganoize over it, if you are like me, you will end up with all of them eventually and not regret it. All are accurate, reliable, cheap to shoot and great fun. Even the one you end up liking the least makes a great extra gun to bring new shooters on board and teach them the basics.

Ive decided to go with the Browning Buckmaster with the flat bull barrel $249 at gander mountain.

to order online most places Id be stuck with 25 shipping and 20 FFL, and nothing local has the rugers at a decent price.... I would buy the Neos deluxe for the better grip, but the Buck Master has a better trigger.

99% sure, tommorrow will show which i pick :)
