Hi all. Thanks to everyone who answered my other posts as to the compact 1911's. So now im in a quandry - they all seem great. Unfortunately, they are all expensive, so I can only choose one. Which one? Thanks for taking the time to vote.
Judging from the spread of .45's you've listed, I am going to assume you've not had opportunity to shoot many of the pistols you've listed? There are some pretty wide variances in that list: The Kimber UC II, just for one example, weighs in at 25 oz. while the Daly is a full 10 oz. heavier. The Daly is a polymer/steel frame (hi-cap?) while the Kimber is an alloy-framed single-stack. I won't speak for anyone but myself but if I was to handle both of those, I know for certain I'd come away preferring one over the other, and most likely by no small margin.Have you shot them? See which one you like best.
