polychoke II help

Does anyone have any experience with a polychoke II. I picked one up to put on a mossberg 500 that will be doing double duty as a deer and turkey gun. I installed the tube and then removed the outer sleeve to make sure the inside were clean and had a light coat of oil. Now for the dumb question, how do I know when I have the sleeve back on all the way? The instructions said that the sleeve would be hard to crank down to xfull but how hard it hard? I do not want to turn it to far but it says not shoot it with it too open.

Don't use a wrench to turn it, but twist it closed with your hand about 75% as hard as you can and you can be sure it is fully closed.

My experience is that the choke will screw down about two clicks past X-Full. Then I just back it up.
