Hello,

Could anyone tell me what a Polytech M14 goes for these days? I came across one unseen for $600, but I'm not sure if it's a good deal, and I am going to try to get pictures to gauge its condition. I'm aware of some of the problems associated with them such as heat treatment of parts.

Last one I saw was about a year ago in San Antonio for $800 in very good condition, wish I would have bought it.

If it is in decent shape, that is not a bad price in this market. I have seen new ones priced up to $1200, used anywhere from there to $600. I had one and it shot fine. Mine had the bolt replaced with a GI one, which is their biggest weak spot.

On a side note, I recommend you save up and get a Springfield. You will be much happier in the long run.

Post the pics, maybe it is the one I had.

Well I have a Springfield M1A Loaded already. This one just came to my attention recently as part of an estate sale. If it isn't a particularly good deal, I don't have an actual need for it.

Polytech M-14

I have a polytech M-14 with 4 20 round clips and a zero lock scope mount this gun has never been fired looking to sell it all for $1050 plus shipping.

let me know if anyone is interested.

thanks,

Lee
