I'm trying to install my Polytech M14 into a SAGE EBR, and spent half my day trying to get the flash suppressor off the Polytech. I finally decided it was either spot welded or Locktited on there, and whacked it off with a giant screwdriver and hammer. That did it.
I am now hung up on the Op Rod block. It looks like the pin holding it in place was crimped on both ends. How does one tap this out? I already broke my 1/8th" tap. Before more things get broken on my bench I thought I'd walk away and see if someone here might have unraveled this mystery already? Thanks.
