MY .223 ISN'T EJECTING PROPERLY. WHAT SHOULD BE THE EJECTED CARTRIDGE KEEPS STICKING IN THE RIFLE AND GETS HUNG UP WITH THE NEXT BEING FED INTO IT. TRIED CHANGING AMMO. TYPE, AND STILL HAPPENING. IS THIS AN EJECTOR/EXTRACTOR PROBLEM? WHAT CAN OR SHOULD I DO? IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN DO MYSELF TO RELIEVE THE PROBLEM? HELP!

First off, turn your caps-lock off. You're "yelling" at us.

Next, .223 is a caliber not a gun. What kind of gun, exactly, are you having problems with? Auto, Bolt action, what?

More info will get you better answers.

You are having an ejection problem. From what you discribe you are shooting a semi-auto and the empty case is not clearing the ejection port before the next round is being feed up from the magazine.

Causes can be dirty gas system which prevents full travel of the bolt to the rear , low power ammo , a dirty chamber causing extraction friction which would slow the bolts rearward travel, something wrong with the extracters (damaged extracter or weak spring tension) causing the case to be prematurely released , or not releasing when ejector is trying to push the case off the bolt face , or something wrong with the ejector system itself.
