poor grouping out of my rem 725

I built a remington 725, black hawk axiom stock, with a cabellas qwik kilp kit,
I am getting horrible groups. 6 inch at 100 yards. I am loading 130 grain hornady sst bullets with 56 grains Imr 4350 powder at 3050 feet per second,
since the barrel is fully floated. I have tried two scopes, and factory loads same weight....any suggestions. Crown looks ok

Did you shoot it before it was altered? Have you tried 140gr or 150gr bullets? I'm guessing we're talking 270 Win?

56gr of IMR4350 is 1gr over maximum at the www.hodgdon.com. Try backing off a couple grains and see what you get. Over Max loads often will not group as well as a work up load.

Try some Sierra Gamekings or Matchkings, and if it won't shoot Sierra's, it probably won't shoot anything.

Is the scope locked down all the way? Does the barrel stabilize the bullets?
try a different load? Is the barrel fouled? How have you fitted it into the stock?
