I was looking into "cheap" ways to scope a right handed bolt action rifle. The sidemount rail that a POSP uses seemed like it required minimal damage to the rifle and still provided a decent optic set up. However, I remember reading somewhere that the POSP scopes, when fitted, were skewed to the right slightly because the original rifles they were intended to be fitted on were to be fed via stripper clip.
The problem: I'm a lefty (not naturally, but because of eye dominance) using a right handed rifle (no problem there) but was wondering if the POSP would be comfortable to use.

Looks nice, but not plausible.
Any alternatives would be great, but I am not interested in knocking out the rear sight for a "scout" style mount.
