Possible new Reloading Space/ House?

The only suggestion I would have concerns if there is a possibility that you might sell the place one day. If so, I would not install anything permanently.

I did notice the drawer GW. It was one of the first things I studied in your plans. Fortunately the wife is a woodworker so I had seen those before and understand what they can and can't do.

I thought about the permanent nature and selling the place, but I bought it to retire on and give to my family so I think that is unlikely. I will keep thinking about it before I start any construction.

Pete, What about using the kitchen for tumblers and such....so besides having a place to keep snacks and maybe a popcorn machine,, you could use it to tumble brass too. I would close off the bar and add a door between the bar and the bathroom wall to keep the noise out of my reloading room/TV lounge.:)

GW, the first thing I noticed was the plastic (I'm assuming) tray around your single stage. I may have to create one of those to go on my rockchucker. I hate those primers going everywhere.

Wow, that is really well laid out.

A little OT, but I like your plane models too...I have many of the same ones

OT you say? This is what it used to look like.

I'm a building contractor of 40 years. One day my wife said, "you ought to be ashamed of this horrible bench." So I slightly remodeled it. Lifted the top and added a torsion beam, rebuilt the drawers and legs, sealed the top and added a formica top and birch face. (the bottle is CO2 for airbrushing.)

So, blame it on her.:D ( I used to rebuild my motocross engines on it....my presses were in another room I now use for food storage.)

The models.......yeah they are still there.....I used to build them....now I just store them. I probably have one of everything in 1/48 that ever flew. I did help my grandson build an A10 Warthog in November......and two of them then asked for models for Christmas with the stipulation that I help them build and paint. Sigh, so much to do, so little time.......but them kids are most important. When I was young 40 years ago I tried to build a train layout (Pete's other hobby) but it was....N scale....wrong scale.

GW, the first thing I noticed was the plastic (I'm assuming) tray around your single stage. I may have to create one of those to go on my rockchucker. I hate those primers going everywhere.

That plastic tray came with older Rock Chuckers. If you don't knoiw about it, you have a newer one. You might be interested in this thread on AR15.com.....covers old presses like mine because the plastic tray worked only part time too. So I improved it since the picture you looked at was taken.

Now for the newer Rocker Chucker 4's, (like yours?) this guys fix is absolutely fantastic! Link below.

Fire surpression is built into the roof behind little covers. It blends into the ceiling well so it may not show well in the pictures. I can see the plumbing to the heads so I presume it works.

Besides, in none of my pictures can you see the actual ceiling except for the kitchen area. They are big vaulted things that go up about 16 feet. There is non of the heads in the kitchen though.

Thanks for the advice.

Man that is seriously awesome. Good for you. Our master bedroom is my man cave, so I share it with our bed and our frilly curtains.

I guess I lose some man points since I call it a man cave and it has frilly curtains and those little watchacallits that are screwed into the walls that hold the drapes when theyre pulled back..go ahead and revoke my man card.
