My neighbor down the road is selling some of his pistols. Sorry I don't have pics, but here's the info I have. He's asking $800 each, and just wondering if these are fair prices.

SW .44 MAG SS Model 629 4" barrel. NIB, never fired

SW .357 MAG SS Model 686, 6" barrel, 7 shot

SW 10MM 1076 SS

Depending on condition and number of mags, that's either a fair, or pretty good price for the 1076.

Also agree with making him an offer of $2000 for all three. Never hurts to ask and it's not a low ball offer either.

If you offer $2000.00 have cash in hand. Get new looking bills from the bank. If you know and trust this guy show him the money.

Seconded (thirded? fourthed?) on the 686. That's a NIB price in my neck of the woods at Cabela's. My local Ace sells them NIB for $685(!!!).

Around here I would say offer 1600, but where your at I would say 2 grand would be about right. Offer 2 grand, and have another 200 handy to sweeten it if the answer is no.

It's a good to great price on the 1076, a high price on the 686 (unless it's the "Pro" model) and it's MAYBE a good price on the 629. This would be FAR easier if you had the -dash series of each one. 629-2? 629 No Dash? Tapered barrel (mountain gun)? Fluted or non-fluted cylinder? many other things.
Also lower the decocking lever on the 1076 and verify there are two small punch marks under it. If not, the VERY IMPORTANT RECALL has not been done, and S&W will do it for you for free, but it's a way to get the price down. Does the 1076 have the "FBI Palmswell" grips?
Lots of questions, and we can answer half of them with crappy cellphone photos.
I'd bring enough to get them all, and offer $2k, but not turn down a counter of $2200.

+1 on Westkentucky. Good idea to have a exra $200.00 in 50's in pocket. Good luck.

The 4" 629 at $800 is okay/fair if it is pre-lock and pre-MIM and unfired, as described. A little on the high side if it has the lock.

The 6" 686 Plus at $800 is at least $200 too high IMO. I just picked up a used 3" 686-6 Plus for $570, which typically sells for more than the 6" version.

I know little about the 1076, so I can't comment.

I agree with jad0110

The 629 is priced OK
The 686 is overpriced
And IDK about the 1076, so I can't comment either.

I'd take the 1076 for that price...especially if it has the box. It's worth that price on its own, but it may be a FBI issued piece.
