I know that 9mm conversion barrels exist for other types of hand guns, but do any off the shelf solutions exist to convert a Kahr CW40 to 9mm?

I regular shoot 40 in larger handguns, but I find the cartridge a bit much for the Kahr.

Maybe you could reload to a lighter charge in the .40. Otherwise I think you're stuck with the only other option being to replace the .40 pistol with a new Kahr 9mm pistol.

You would need to change the entire upper.
I agree, as the breechface and extractor spacing in the slide are different. This assumes they don't cost as much or more than a new gun, that .40 and 9mm calibers use the same frame, and that Kahr will even sell them to you. :scrutiny:

CM9's are fairly inexspensive awesome guns...Keep your 40 and spring for a CM9...you won't regret it...
