I was going through some pictures today and came across one that brought back some great memories.. I don't remember the year but I do remember it was Thanksgiving Day, my hunting buddy and I walked off the meal with a little Pheasant hunting. Finished off the day with a cigar and a glass of Scotch as I recall..

My favorite hunting pic is my girlfriend Rachel's first archery deer. Killed in sept 2013. She wasn't planning on hunting this particular evening but it was a good looking day and I convinced her to go. We weren't in the stand an hour when this guy walked out and she took the shot. As she released he started walking and she hit him back so we backed out for about 3.5 hrs and we went back in after him and found him less than 100 yards from where she shot him. To say she was excited is an extreme understatement!
