Potato Load for Revolver

No!

Sounds like a gun cleaning nightmare with all that potato juice getting blown into the cracks & crevices.

No, but I've used a primer and parafin wax, and it works great. Just push the decapped case through the 1/2" thick wax and it cuts a perfect "bullet", already seated. Then prime and shoot. You leave the priming to last so the air pressure doesn't push the wax back out.

Hope this helps.

+1 on the Parafine wax bullets. Works great!

But you probably need to drill out the flash holes to 1/8".

Without it, the primers will blow out/set back and lock up the cylinder, or at least cause enough drag to really strain the lock-work.

If you go that route, keep the modified cases separate and never use them again for normal reloads.
