Last night going to load some range rat loads. as usual drop the charge about 2 10ths short and trickle the rest. I poured the powder from the scale pan using the same funnel Ive had for ever and 1/2 a grain of powder is stuck to the side. :banghead: tried every thing I could think of and the powder still clings to the funnel. finally gave up. Any ideas? tried my bigger funnel no problem.

Dryer sheets or wash with liquid dish detergent and let funnel air dry.

washed it with dish soap before I left for work this morn setting in the draining rack. hopefully can get some round loaded tonight.

I bet it's plastic.

I use a Saturn powder funnel. It's aluminum with a brass end. (you can find them at Midway)

I still wipe it down with a dryer sheet though. And, on that note.... I find that a onced cycled dryer sheet works the best.

Yep! dryer sheets. I used it to wipe out the powder hopper so when I change powders, it pours out clean with no powder clinging to the insides. LM

dryer sheets have a wax coating that makes them work. I have never had a problem with the little green RCBS one I have been using for about 30 years. Where you live and the weather can sometimes contribute to that as well.

metal funnels. best things since sliced bread. sometimes a case can be cut. some of the little metal tips pastry chefs extrude fancy frosting through can work too. they come in different sizes.
