Ok so this may be totally dumb to some people but I am going to ask it anyways. I have H414 powder and it is very very staticky (dont know how to spell it) anyways it sticks to EVERYTHING!!! Is there a way to get it to stop or is that just the nature of the powder?

It is not an old powder either. Just bought a month ago. I have poured it all into a separate container and put it back and tried some different things like that to discharge the static with no luck :(

Sometimes you can wipe down the inside with a used drier sheet and get a little relief.

I just roll up a sheet of paper and use it to scrape down the sides after I'm done and that knocks the stuck powder grains down into where you can run them out the bottom.

It's a cost of doing business when you live where it's dry.

Get a can of Static Guard at the grocery store.
Lightly spray whatever the powder is sticking to.

I use it on reloading stuff, truck seats in the winter time, when opening boxes full of packing peanuts, etc.

Great stuff.

This is an issue that you will always have with you, to some degree, as long as you're dispensing powder from a measure. I've found that the used drier sheet trick works pretty well; also helps with the same problem with coffee mills.

I keep a dryer sheet inside my powder measure until I need to use the powder. I wipe the whole inside down with the sheet and set it aside. After putting away the powder, I put the dryer sheet back into the powder measure. It keeps it static free and I no longer have any powder sticking to it anywhere.

Hey Rc does the static guard come out wet at first and have to be allowed to dry or what? I've never seen the stuff used.

Yes it's sort of semi-wet, but its a very fine atomized mist.
Dries in seconds to a dry surface.

I generally let it dry a few seconds while finding a rag, and then wipe off any excess if I use too much.

When I use it on my truck seats it isn't wet enough that you can't just hop right in and go.
