My Son came home with several boxes of 7mm RM he picked up at a yard sale. I warned him not to use it simply because it is someone elses reloads, but the data on the MTM cartridge boxes was even more good cause to just pull them and start over. My point is to inform those new to reloading to not be intimidated by data and to use it as published to avoid serious issues. Starting charges are deffniely OK and a good starting point, but reducing exessively is far more dangerous than running a maximum published SAAMI approved charge could ever be.
They had 130 gr. JSP bullets with a 48.0 gr. charge of IMR-4350. My Son insisted on shooting them which resulted in collapsed walls, and primers were backed out and leaking. Gases leaked all the way down to the head of every case.
