Powder Valley got Tula primers in

there damn well better be a notice on the actual web page about the 10k limit. just putting it on FB is not a valid way to go.

Why have those big disclaimers and policies on the home page if they are not complete.

MErl, since PV did not post the arrival of 10 million Tula primers on their website, I think they anticipate a quick sellout like the 7.5 million primers previous delivered. With the current anticipation, I would be surprised if the popular primers like SP/LP remain in stock more than 30 minutes. To the casual online customers, these items will simply remain "out of stock".

More and more manufacturers/vendors are using FB/social media to communicate with their customers and sometimes run special promotions not listed on their websites. I guess it's similar to LGS allowing their "favored customers" first peek/shot at new deliveries before the
rest of their customers see the inventory on the shelves. ;)

Can they limit quanties on special promotions? Sure, many vendors have done it like MidwayUSA. At least 10,000 is more practical than 1000-2000 some other vendors currently impose.

Less than an hour to go.

There's an interesting chatter on Powder Valley's FB page that it is not 10,000 total primers per order but per each item.

Here's what PV posted on FB.
There is a limit of 10k primers per item ordered.
To me that means you could order 10K of SP and 10K of LP etc.

Then the 10 million primers could go even faster that what I had thought.

Am I reading this correctly?

Thanks for posting this thread. I thought there was a 10K total limit so I got 8K SPP and 2K LPP... but that will still do me for a good long while.

Just LR, LRM, and Berdan x39 left. I purposely made sure I was nowhere around a computer when they went up. I have enough of everything except bullets and .22lr to last me through until at least September but I know I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from buying at least 3k of LP and 2k of SP. Someone on their facebook page commented on ordering 40 cases of primers on top of some KVB556M. 40 cases? Isn't a case 5k?

I thought a case was 1k.

After I ordered I thought about it and went back and piced up some lpp.

I should have enough to last quite awhile.

Yep, I got called into work, and when I got home that was all there was. I ordered 5K LR. I thought about ordering 10K, but by the time I shoot the 5K, things should be back to normal. I also ordered a pound of LT 32 and N-110. Pickens are slim, but getting better.

Unless they happen to read THR I guess. I wasn't planning on ordering primers but am keeping an eye for bullets since I'm down to a few month supply before I have to swap over. This thread got opened because it was about PV and they are one of the places I check.

Yes, it is marketing. That is what FB is all about and the main reason I do not use it.

Sure they can set any policy they want, but it does need to be stated on the order page. Posting policies in the basement behind a "Beware the Leopard" sign isn't exactly posted. :)

Let us know what you think of that LT-32 once you get a chance to test it. I haven't been able to find much about it but everything I have found says it's a pretty nice .223 powder. A little bit pricey compared to most though.

The first thing I am going to try it in is my .222 Mag, which really likes 2015.
