I like to plug companies and organizations when they deserve it.

Powder Valley Inc. Sent me a case of (2000qty, 4 boxes of 500 at 69lbs.) .45 JHP via USPS. When it arrived, I noticed saran wrap and masking tape on my package but didn't put the two together. So, long story short, I loaded my 1st 500 rounds and reached down for the next box which was extremely light and had ripped and missing cardboard. There's nothing like the feeling of knowing you've been shorted and the possibility of not getting reimbursed. I realized the snail mail co. probably broke my package and didn't feel the need to put back in the box what was mine (308 bullets).

Upon calling PVI the next morning, I explained the situation and after a few questions, they told me I'd be taken care of. Today, I received a replacement box of 500 pills, more than what I originally said was lost.

PVI has my praise. They took care of business when they really didn't have to.

Cheers PVI !

Nice to hear that about Powder Valley.

I think I will place an order.

Welcome to THR.

Most small companies will have nowhere near the correct shipping containers for thier merchandise.

I would GLADLY pay $5 extra on an order if they put that money to PROPER packaging. Its not like everyone DOESN'T KNOW that shippers really, really don't care about thier jobs and will kick/drop lose you package and not even thik twice.

$5 for packaging is a better deal than insurance that most shipper charge.

I ordered 1500 .223 55gr bullets. THey placed a 50 cal ammo can in a box. OK, but the inner ammo can had no address info ect. If the outer box gets mangled then UPS/USPS/Fed Ex guy get my 1500 bullets for free... I get to waste time on the phone... no win situation.

Even though there is no pleasing some people, Powder Vally sure tries. I've been a customer of theirs for years; every order has been perfect and the prices can't be beat.
