That link is 12 years old, and appears a bit more conservative than current data. Do you suppose that the formula changed, prompting the difference in published data?

Huh? How is a French website marked En Construction 20/04/97 "new data."

It is the same as in my 2002 Alliant brochure, but today the Alliant website shows loads the same or even higher, probably due to change in bullets from Hornady to Speer.

I just got a new Allliant load data book from my powder dealer and it was still showing load data for a 45 acp and 230 FMJ as 8.1 grs. and the website is now showing a load data of 7.4

Randy1911 brings light to an important point; double check and cross reference your data, it is subject to change. :)

I'm rather new to reloading, but I don't use the Alliant #'s, although I consult the site. I thought they were a bit high compared to Speer and Lyman manuals. Maybe they are just listing toward the max, but I like to see a min and a max both.
