Hello. Is it possible to buy a PPK in 32acp and buy an extra bbl and magazine and convert it to 380acp? Are the slides the same internally? Do the slides weigh the same? I assume the springs are stiffer for the 380, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help you can give me.

FURGITABOUTIT!!!

No it's not. 9mm kurz mags do not fit the .32acp mag well!!
I have a .380 PPK/S, which has the same frame as the PP, as well as the later. I tried the larger mags and they don't even begin to fit the PP magwell!!

In short, go out and buy yourself a brand new 9mm kurz PPK!!

Thanks guys. I was afraid of that. It's just that .32's are more plentiful and much cheaper than .380's around here.

Quite frankly, the advantages of the .380 over the .32 are more theorical then real, and because the PP/PPK series of pistols were designed around the 7.65mm (.32) cartridge they may be a bit more reliable. I have used both, and would be satisfied with either. If the .32's are noticeably less expensive I would go in that direction.
