Not sure exactly where to post this. Does anyone have any experience with the Radom made PPS-43? Not very practical, but very cool seeming. Fires 7.62 X 25. Ultra high velocity round. Centerfire has these (no price listed).

Also, is ammo commonly available?

Thanks much for your response and info.

Ammo, although corrosive, is still fairly cheap. If you buy one stock up as I am sure prices will go up. A dealer friend of mine bought one and it is as new. He paid the $200 tax stamp with ATF and registered it as a "short barrel rifle" and had the stock put back in service. Handy as hell and surprisingly accurate. It has no purpose in life but what the hell?

I'm also looking at buying one and changing the "fixed" folding stock so it really folds (Does a welded-in-placefolding stock seem like a dumb idea or what?) If I decide to go this route I'll Form 1 it as a SBR, or else just remove the folding-fixed stock and use it as a real pistol without any stock at all, although it doesn't look nearly as cool that way. What the heck, it's just a toy, so why not Form 1 it and have a cool toy???

I agree on buy ammo now. This stuff used to be 8 - 10 cents a round, now it's around 20 and rising. I don't think there's a commercial round made, but I'm not sure. Never thought about shooting commercial ammo.

Fun Gun and surprisingly accurate. As a pistol it qualifies as a concealable pistol and I can keep it loaded in the car if I choose. New ammo is also available from Wold Gold and you can get hollow points.
The Polish ammo I got mostly works but beware of hang fires.
