Pre AE Winchester 94 .30-30 value?

Just procured a pre AE .30-30 1984 Winchester. Paid what I wanted to pay for it. Just curious, what the expected value of this firearm should be? It is in really good condition, probably 98% or better.

Got the gun in my grubby little hands. Serial number is 49442xx. Can anyone tell me about this gun?

I'm jealous, please post pictures. Dumb question but what do you mean by pre-AE?

Pre angled eject. I guess on some later models they made it so you could mount a scope, the shells eject off at an angle, instead of straight up and over your shoulder. If you crank on the lever hard you can shoot the ejected shell over your shoulder a good ways...

Probably about what you wanted to pay.

There are websites with s/n look - ups if you want to know. I think that number is around 1980-ish but that's no guarantee (I think I have one about the s/n is why I can guess). If you google/search you can find one of those look-up sites.
