Found this reblued pre war Heavy Duty in a for sale add in the local paper. Has some miner pitting on the exterior, but is in great condition otherwise. Should make a excellent range gun.

They do not make a better range gun than these old S&W HD's. Seems all I have shot have been dead on with 158 grain lead bullets. Nice find!

Keyboard, yes, it is the five inch barrel. Checkman, you will hate me more when you find the price I paid was only 375.00 dollars.;)

I have an Outdoorsman (just prefer adjustable sights) and it makes shooting .38 spl a real pussycat. Just gotta love those old N-frames.

Stoney That will fit in nicely with all the great ones you have shown pictures of lately. You are getting all the good ones. (Just joking) enjoy. You have the best collection of any I have seen. Both newer and older.

Thanks deanodog, here is a 2nd model 44 HE from my collection you haven't seen. The grips are by Keith Brown.

Thanks again deanodog. Here is my latest. Picked up this reblued pre 15 Combat Masterpiece at a gunshow in Columbus yesterday. 300 dollars out the door.
