Can anyone steer me in the direction of a forum that may give me value info on a pre WWII Luger? A friend has me selling a bunch of his stuff and included is a 1937, all numbers match, with original barrel Luger. I'd like to get a decent price for him on it but have no idea where to start.

This is THE authoritative forum on Lugers: http://www.lugerforum.com/

You will get the best evaluation if you post high quality pictures of it that show all markings clearly. Poor pictures can't be evaluated very well.

Be real careful and check many sources for value, as they vary greatly depending on marks and year made. I saw a generic 32ACP Walther PP at cabelas this year for $1800 at their gun library. After a little questioning they admitted it was nothing special but the buyer who bought it paid way to much for it. They just wanted to recover their losses at the customers expense and I pointed out they should eat it as it was their mistake but 1 month later it was still there.

Either of those forums would be good. Make sure you take sharp closeup pictures of all markings and don't forget the magazines and any other accessories.
