Precision AR-10 trigger question

on an aero precision 6.5Creedmoor, how much difference will a $250 trigger make over the milspec trigger it comes with? I'm sucker for gadgets but would I be better served to master the milspec trigger? Target shooting is the only application at this time. Eventually I want to take it out to 1000m but the glass money bucket is empty right now so it's irons for some time.

glass is way, way more important than the trigger for precision rifle, unless you're shooting palma or something.

but yes, the trigger makes an enormous difference.

Yea same I would save for glass first but the trigger will make a big difference

Get a LaRue MBT trigger for $125 while you still can.

Trigger makes a huge difference especially for precision. Although for 1000 meters a good scope will be important to. A mil-spec trigger will make it incredibly difficult to shoot well though. I would say at the very least get like a $114 JP trigger system at 3.5 lbs and save the extra $150 towards a good scope or you could just get a $250 drop in trigger that will make it both easier and more fun to shoot.
