If you don't already know, Precision Bullet makes cast lead bullets, with some sort of polymer coating on them. They are guarenteed not to lead. Do these bullets still violate the "no lead in Glocks" rule? Am I risking blowing up my G17?

i've shot just about all lead in my 17L for years and i will grant you that lead is not as accurate in the Glock but for 20 yards or less accuracy is OK and i don't have any concerns about it blowing up...now when i had a 40 cal glock i did have reservations about the lead. i'm not fmiliar with the bullets you're describing but for me i'll shoot lead in my 17's.....DICK

Precision Bullets puts a polymer coating on their bullets and they should be safe in a Glock. The coating is reputed to be very tough and heat resistant.
