Predators deem seniors easy prey (poster)

It's good, but as usual I think it's unnecessarily "in your face." By that I mean, why is the guy just standing around waiting for trouble with a gun in his hand? I'd like it more if the same guy were picking up his grandchild, with his daughter in the background at her home, and because he was bending over you could see a gun on his hip (or whatever).

It's a great photograph. I'd use "consider" instead of "deem." There's nothing wrong with "deem," but it's been on its way out of style quite awhile.
The Old Fuff can relate to this one, and he likes it. It is absolutely true that punks prefer senior citizens because they are pretty sure they won’t meet any kind of serious resistance.
I recently had to renew my CCW, and along with myself found the class to be dominated by others who were on the far side of life - including two grandmothers. They, and the others all passed - including the shooting range part. It was very clear that none of them were going to be candidates for victimhood, and none of them was interested in supporting any anti-gun political hacks. The look on the gentleman's face says it all, and I see no reason to convey some kind of warm and fuzzy message.
Now maybe you need to stir the pot by doing one with a lady …

Let me throw in this seniors story.
Right after Texas passed the CHL and before I got mine another pilot at work (Galveston) told me about his wife being at an armed robbery a few days before.
They lived near San Antonio (I believe).
The pilots wife (late 50's) was number three in line to pay for gas inside a quick stop.
In front of her was a Gray hair lady about early 60's.
In front was a young black guy.
The pilots wife said the young guy pulled a gun on the clerk.
It seemed he wasn't worried about the two old ladies behind him.
That shocked the pilot's wife but she said what surprised her more was when the second lady pulled a 38 and cocked it as she stuck it in the guy's ear.
And told him, "Please don't drop your gun. I've spent a lot of money so I can kill your ass."
She said the guy not only dropped his gun but he peed himself.
I told the pilot, I will bet money that does not make the news.
It didn't.
The only thing the news reported was anything that could be twisted to make the new carry law look bad.

How about a senior citizen holding a cane like the one the alpha-Droog had in A Clockwork Orange? Surely that would put the scallywaggs in flight!
Nice work. I like the confident expression on the model. I agree that a CCW-holster version would be good. It'll be a composition challenge to draw attention to a holster that is suppsed to be hidden, but is inadvertently revealed.

I think it is fine, actually. Nothing wrong with "deem," except that thugs are too stupid to "deem," that's why they are thugs. "Think" or even "Figure" makes more sense here I think.
Yes, it's a nit pick. So sue me.
On the other hand, I think the gun being openly visible is better than showing the man is bad at concealed carry (because you can see his gun).

It would be good tho to see another version ..... maybe with a CCW emphasis .. such as the guy looking to camera, perhaps with an expression suggesting being under potential threat. (Slight frown, whatever)
He could then be moving a hand toward a carry piece .... just exposed as he moves aside his shirt/jacket .... it would be subtle ... showing the gun but at same time highlighting the concealment aspect.
