What do you recommend for stick-on grips? I have the regular and extended mags for this pistol.

I've handled a S&W M&P and must say I love the feel of their grip. I also have larger than normal hands (not monsters...just larger than normal) and think the extra padding will fill my hand better and add a bit of felt recoil comfort too.

BTW, I don't mind spending an extra few bucks on grips. Overall feel and reducing felt recoil are king :D

What say you?

You may look at the Talon grips. I have not tried them yet myself, but I have some on the way for my glock23. I should know more is a few days when I het them. Hickok45 on you tube has a review of them that you can watch.

Thanks guys. I was watching some Youtube videos last night and decided to order some rubberized Talons. They look almost "factory". The Hogue Handall is probably what I actually want to make the grip thicker. However, they definitely look non-factory at the top...like an afterthought.

Ideally, a hybrid of the Talon and Hogue would be perfect!

I've tried several. A slip on grip made from a bicycle inner tube is what works best for me. The fact that I can make 15-20 from 1 inner tube for just a few bucks is just a bonus. I like them better than any commercial grips I've found. All of the stick on grips start to come unglued at the edges eventually. Some sooner than others. Even the bicycle tube grips will eventually wear out. I haven't done it yet.

Just cut a 2-3" section from the tube. Slide it over the grip and trim with a sharp knife to fit. They provide just enough texture to get a good grip on the gun without making the grips too large.

Not everyone likes them, but they work for me.

Talon makes both sandpapers and rubber stick on grips. While they may make it easier to hold on too, I don't think they do much for recoil reduction.

I have tried most grips over the years. Don't like any of them all that much. Decided to try Talon. I put them on my XDS. Then my Shield. Then my G-26. Uh, get the picture :)

My Talon grips came in yesterday and I promptly put them on my G23. They made it through their first tour of duty today intact, Only time will tell how well they will stay on the grip.
