What is the current price on a NIB S&W Mod. 25 ?

Also:
I have limited experience with "N" frames. I realized that this is one of the larger frames that Smith makes, but I am curious. Is the distance from the trigger to the back strap longer than the same measurement of the "L" frame? I have small hands.

my k & l frames measured nearly identical at 3.4"

keep in mind that the grips and trigger width with come into play here...

both my measurements had and open backstrap on the grips...

n frame was full target trigger, l frame was smooth combat trigger...

mod 25 is chambered in .45acp and also in 45LC, so choose accordingly...
 
The N-frame does have a longer reach, but not by much. A lot of adjustment is made up in the choice of grips.
For a close estimation on price then the dash (-) number, barrel length, and chambering will be needed.
 
Dobe - don't quote me but - I'd guess a NIB M25-6 would run you in region of $650 to $700 ..... depending of course where purchased. This might be a 4" for example.

Length of pull is not a huge lot more than L frame but - if small hands then as has been said, grip choice will allow for some leaway.

I was looking at the 4" barrel in .45 Colt. I am starting to really like this old cartridge. It is the only barrel length I was able to find on the S&W Website. There was no MSRP.
 
So you are talking about the M25-13 Mountain Gun then. I have seen them priced from $625 to $675 at various places.
