Hi, I have an opportunity to buy a very gently use Beretta 92FS Vertec. It has the black bruniton finish. Made in 2004, comes with original case. Unsure of number of mags. It is being offered at $500. I have a 92A1 and I'm intrigued by the flat back and thinner grip on the Vertec. Is $500 a decent deal? Is there any future collectability in the Vertec line?

If you have a Beretta already, the Vertec won't be different except in the trigger reach. It's "smaller hand" friendly but only by a little. Get used to the plastic grips because others are very rare.
The price seems OK. I doubt these will ever be more valuable or collectable but by a small margin.
