Don't know if this is OK here I don't see anything in the rules about it..

I've been looking for a lower that's fairly priced, and I have noticed that these DPMS lowers (complete) w/ a2 stocks are about $250 locally and on-line so is this an average and reasonable price to go by with, say if I found one at $230 would that be cheaper than most?

Just a opinion since I'm new at getting AR stuff. (I'm planning on a bushy varminter upper just so you guys know)

Check out the AR15.com equipment exchange. You'll find practically every brand of lower available in varying stages of assembly.

Are you willing to put one together yourself? If so you can find great lowers for around 100. The LPK for 60. That leaves almost 90 for a stock and such. Just an option...

Seems pretty fair to me. Even if you pickup a lower online for $100, you're still going to have to likely pay $20 or more to have a local dealer transfer it.

Yea the transfer here is $35 for 'assault type' rifles which is.. err.. okay. He just puts it in the same category as handguns.. Rifles are $20 though... So.. bleh.

How about those stock triggers vs. national match two stage trigger

What ever you decide to do, just watch what parts they put in it. The complete build may be appear to be nice, but the parts could be low quality. Just be careful...
