Nice, I like it. I've got the DPMS TAC20 with a Nikon 6x18.5X40 and love the package. I don't know if I have the skills to shoot 600 yards but it would be fun to try. Good luck.

Thats awesome looking. Can you match the barrel to the rest of the gun or is that how you wanted it?

I own an ar15 but i can honestly say i have shot it twice. I prefer my 700 bolt action. I didnt realize you could make an ar platform to shoot a 308 when i bought mine.

Awesome looking gun.

Well.... it's not exactly the same AR platfrom. AR15 size platform can not fit 308win size ammo.... for that you have to use AR10 size platform. Pretty much same thing, just bigger receiver size.

As it so happens, I was "window shopping" on DPMS today, and looking very longingly at almost the exact same thing.

Very nice! Please come back and give us a range report after you take her out for a spin.

The image is to give you some idea what your LR308 would look like with a Leupold Mark 4 mounted. The one in the picture is my wife's.

By the way if anyone is doing a DPMS 308 build I have a spare Bolt Carrier Assembly on ebay for the next 3 days.

A little upgrade went in....
I installed a RRA Rock River Arms AR National Match NM 2 Stage Trigger AR15/10 (RRA-AR0093NMK) Kit w/Options 3.5 Pound Trigger.

Now I just need to get out and shoot it...:what:

You can have some fun with the stock hand guards if you are in to modding things yourself.

This is one of my "clean and to the point" DPMS LR308s in the collection of many...

I have the Remington R-25 camo rebadged version with a 20" and I love it. What trigger did you put in yours? I had to yank my stock single stage and went with a G-Trigg single stage adjustable unit.

Cool. I bet it is very heavy, but I bet it is really accurate. I had an LR-308 with a heavy chrome moly 20" barrel, and it sure was. It was too heavy for my purposes so I sold it, but it sure did shoot nice. It would have made a great bench gun.
