My dealer has one for $405 out the door. Very good condition, <200 rds fired, but no box. :( ' comes w/ a holster, but don't know what kind.
Yea or nay?

All I can say in my area can't find anything with Colt on it. I paid 375 a year ago for a Mustang, and would most likely pay that for the nine. Be advised ,that I understand they have terrible triggers. But people say that about the PPK to.:D

take it, thinner than Kahr's. lightweight aluminum frame with "melted" curves, great CCW piece if it's reliable.

Colt stopped making the Pocket Nine. One of their dumbest mistakes. It was one of their best selling models, but it was during one of the school shooting things or something and they stopped all that.

Personally, I prefer the Kahr, but the size is very close. A used Pocket Nine isn't worth $405 to me though..... $375 maybe.

no, it's because they ignored Justin Moon's patents and stole his intellectual property which led to a court battle and an order to stop making them.

Pocket Nine is better than a kahr, used values are difficult to estimate on discontinued guns anyway.

Thanks to all! I'll sleep over it and decide tomorrow if I really want it. :)
There's also a Ruger Mini 14 for $299 and a S&W 629 w/ power port for $380...Darn, so many guns, so little money! :D

Pocket 9 is a great little gun, but you better check price and availability of mags before you buy. I've got a buddy with one and at the last gunshow we went to he found 2 Pocket 9 mags.....$50 a piece.

I think Brownells sells the mags.

They're nice guns. I had a custom one. I think they're not exactly gorgeous when they're stock, but that's not the point of the P9 anyway. Unless you have clear pockets.

I own a Colt Pocket Nine and love it! I was at the local gun show a few weeks back here in NC, there were 2 used ones that I saw there and they were asking $625 each. For $405 I think that you should be there when the shop opens again and get it for that price, you will not be sorry for your choice.

The pocket Nine had some problems from what I remember. It didn't have a chance to get all the bugs worked out of it before Kahr sued them for patent violations. There is no warrenty, parts are not going to be easy to get and mags are scarce and pricey. These reasons often cause a gun to sell for LESS not MORE!

I would pay $300 tops for one only because it has the alloy frame and I would like to try one. The Kahr is a damm fine gun but it weighs a ton for the size. The plastic ones are light but they are plastic. I still don't understand why Kahr won't make a K-9 in alloy or Titanium instead of cheap plastic. Plastic is BS period. If they made a super high end Kahr MK-9 with a ultra light frame, people would line up to buy it. They are lining up to buy the plastic one but that is because there is no other choice for a light Kahr.

Colt Pocket Nine

I bought one last year for $360 and was very pleased with the deal I got. They are nice little guns. Magazines are not a major problems. CDNN has them for $19.99. I have not seen the CDNN mag as I have all I need. I would not hesitate to buy it for $405.
