My local dealer has a Ruger P90 in .45 ACP. I don't know much about grading but I would say it's in VG condition. It has the Pachmayer rubber grip. He's asking $320 for it. I know it's been shot 'cause you can see wear on the frame through the ejection port.

Is that anywhere near a reasonable price? I don't mind paying a little extra since he's right here in town and will let me make payments on it.

THANKS!

Bud's list a new P90 for $403 delivered and you'd have to pay the FFL transfer fee on top of that. So it looks like you're saving about $100 from new. It's certainly in the ballpark depending on where you're located...

Hi there, I'm no fan of Ruger's, but I would suggest you look to the KP345PR before the used P-90. You can aquire the 345 brand spanking new for $420,00 or less just about anywhere. That said the KP-90 has a pretty good reputation amongst Ruger fans........Good luck

The P90 is a great gun and if it has the original box and 2 mags, then it is a reasonable price.

I'll second that. My P90 is a tack driver (but so is my 345 :)). I would call 275-350 a reasonable price used depending on condition and accessories.

I know it's been shot 'cause you can see wear on the frame through the ejection port.

Not sure what you're seeing.

How many magazines come with that?

Assuming you're OK with the way the size and ergonomics, $320's OK.

The P90 is a great pistol, and that's not a bad price if, as mentioned previously, you get the spare mag, box. If not, you need to barter down a little bit.

As far as the P90 over the 345... P90 is definitely bigger, but the early 345's weren't great guns, at least from what I have read. I looked at one when it first came out, and I couldn't have been more disappointed, and thats coming from a diehard Ruger fan...

I Was Too Late

I regret that my dealer had already sold the gun by the time I got back there. At least now I know that 1) The P90 has a great reputation and 2) what's a reasonable price for one.

Give the P345 another look Timbo. I picked up one earlier this year and couldn't be more pleased. It is my EDC and i'm approaching the 1K round mark with no troubles to report. Extremely accurate too. Whatever growing pains they had seem to have been worked out.

P90

Where I trade thats a very good price from a dealer, most would want at least $350, and just about any .45 is worth $300 so I'd say it's a bargain for the end user, and I bet you won't loose a dime on it if you have to re-sell.
