hello all.

i need some help from all of you Americans. i live in canada and i was at a gun show today. i was so close to buying an m14 today i left the building and as i was driving home i thought that, that gun was in nice condition and i really would like to own one, so i turned around and once i got back inside and looked at it i was back driving down the road in about five minutes. as i said the gun was in good condition and it was an earlier model maybe mid 1960's not too sure about it though just know that it was an early version. they wanted $500 canadian which is about 560 American or so i think. so i was wondering if i could, find one in the states how much do they usually cost there. i was really hoping to buy it but i guess no luck for me today.

anybody got any experience with one any feedback is good feedback

thanks a lot and a good day to all.

In Canada you've got access to Chinese Norinco M14S models we can't get down here due to import restrictions. I think the price you quoted is about right for a Norinco rifle. Down here in the US, prices for M14 clones start at something between two and three times the price you were quoted.

I read that Canadians have access to Norinco (USA ban) M14 clone rifles. As M14s in Springfield bring $1200-$2000 here in the US, you might actually be able to enjoy your purchase!

this gentlemen from Canadia got ahold of a Norinco M14 ( his second)

Apparently the Norinco M14, despite being one of the best selling firearms on this side of the border, is going out of production so I decided I had to have a spare! I ordered the rifle (with 3 mags, sling and cleaning kit) for $399, a scope mount for $149 and some other parts including a stainless steel op spring guide, recoil buffer and gas tube shims.

if that helps on the price at all
