I am looking to sell a 91 30 mosin. All matching numbers. I have placed a timney trigger on it and adjustable front site. A synthetic Monte Carlo style stock. A sealed spam can of Russian corrosive ammo. And about another half case in the individual cardboard boxes. Another opened spam can of the generic ammo minus about 4 boxes. I am not the best at ball parking. And I think I came out on the bad end on my last sell. So I wanted to get an idea if what people would value all if this.

It really depends on how well the rifle shoots. Several of my friends are interested in a 91/30 for hog hunting. You could get $200 easy if it has a hex receiver in original condition. I don't know if sporterizing a 91/30 adds any value.

Usually when I get a good price for a rifle someone knows I have been bagging a lot of game with the rifle. A guy was shooting at a deer with a 30/30. He was shooting at a deer and the bullets were hitting the ground well short of the deer. I whipped out a jam-o-mmatic 30/06 Woodmaster to kill the deer first shot. He paid my asking price without a single counter offer.

I kept all of the original stuff incase some one wanted to convert it back. But it's not a hex one.

Pull the Timney, sell it on Ebay. Put the original gear back on the Mosin, sell the aftermarket stuff separately. Also sell the ammo separately.

You almost always make more selling things separately and often sell them faster.

Agreed. For the record, all 91/30's will have matching numbers, as they are renumbered when they got assembled from other guns. The original number may still be there, but will be struck through and the new number that matches all the other parts will be next to it. Being a round receiver, it's probably a 1935 or later, depending on whether it's a Tula or Ishevsk. What's the date on top of the receiver?
