What a neat little cqb/short range hybrid red dot and traditional scope.

It's light (about the same as a Colt knock off 4x fixed) compact (smaller than the Colt scope) gathers more light (bigger objective) and has 11 brightness settings for the illuminated red reticle (also works as black reticle without power). Also has way better eye relief (more range) and mounts closer to the carry handle so it won't get hung up on gear.

Set up on my fauXm-177, I practiced 'clearing the house' with it, both eyes open with illumination on and off--what a gem!

Perfect for my short-range PDW/ 'house' gun. The fine aiming point is a little hard to read for my aging eyes but I am going to put the scope through its paces in the coming weeks.

Yes, and the eye relief is much more forgiving. Even if it is NOT a 300+ yard scope (not why I bought it) it looks to have promise. I sent off for the thumbscrew mount instead of re-using the screws that lock the picatinny mount to the scope.

Looks nice Doc. How about a tactical light as well?

My Colt CAR-15 pencil barrel carbine carries a 2.5x Leupold compact (one of my favorites) as well as a Surefire light. Lightness here is the operative word and it is zeroed for 50-200 yds which I also doubt I would ever need.

Thx

M
