Well guys, I wanted to let everyone know that tonight is primary night in new york. I know of two congressional races specifically that we are going to be seeing whether we get a republican nominee who is pro-gun or not pro-gun. We have the 24th district which is the walrath boehlert race. Boehlert is a 22 year incumbent with an f rating from GOA and a d- from the NRA. Dr. walrath is an A from both. The other race is from the 29th district where we have an open seat, state senator Randy Kuhl is pitted against a county Leg. Mark Assini. Mark is the pro-gun candidate with no real ratings, and Kuhl votes whichever way the wind is blowing that day. But, each of these races can yield a valuable leader and fighter for our ideas and ways of life. I'll try to post the results for you guys as to who wins the primarys, polls close at 9 pm eastern time, it's 8 now. I sacrficed months of my time for both of these guys. Here's hoping for the best!

RNews declared Kuhl the winner in the 29th Congressional district.

81% reporting

Kuhl 66%
Assini 34%

[re-reads first post]

:uhoh:

[flips & reads election notification card sitting on table for days]

[realizes card says primary is September, not earlier]

:banghead:

Yep, unfortnate as it is, Kuhl and Boehlert won the race. There were some key victories in the state level legislature, but that doesn't concern you guys nationwide. Kuhl won it by a wide margin, and Boehlert won by about 18% too. That's a real shame as he only won by 3% (1500) two years ago against the same challenger.

Can you guys say RINO? Sure, I knew you could.

I voted for Walrath. Upstate NY needs all the help it can get to try and turn the foul winds that billow forth from that rotten fruit downstate.
