I am using a Lee turret press that does NOT have the hollow ram and plastic drain tube that the Classic turret press has. The slot on the ram where the primers pop out does not match any handy recesses or hole on the press and the spent primers go wherever. I made a "primer catcher" out of an old coffee can lid but it is very temporary and not all that good. And I have bumped it and sent primers all over.:banghead:

What is the most popular fix to keep the primers from scattering with the Lee Turret press?

You say you have a Lee Turret that does not have a hollow base where the spent primers can go? I have a Lee turret and I just drilled a 1 inch hole in the top of my bench and mounted the turret over the hole and installed an old aluminum ice tray, on a slide, under the hole under the bench. Never seen a Lee turret that didn't have this hole though the base of the turret where the primers could go...

I either use a box, or a bucket on the floor underneath the press where primers can fall down onto it.
