Primer pockets

Can anyone enlighten me on why I cant seem to find a primer pocket uniformer for large pistol? I have reloaded about 1000 rounds of .44 mag and it appears some of the primer pockets need to be uniformed. Some of the primers that I am seating are being slightly flattened in order to seat them at or below flush of the head. Seems to be more previlant on the Winchester cases.

I see there are uniformers that specify "rifle only", but I cant find one for large pistol. Is there any logical reason for this?

I have one in my RCBS Trim Mate. It can also be used with a handle, manually.

I use a Lyman Large # 7810215 for rifle and pistol, never had a problem. Use it for cleaning too!

Those at Sinclair are uniformers, not just cleaners. I prefer them as well for prepping accuracy loads. I don't bother to clean my range brass primer pockets at all unless they get so cruddy they interfere with seating and that happens very rarely.

The rifle primer pocker cleaner will do pistol as well.
