Has anyone tried the primer tube loader from Frankford Arsenal? How well does it work, is it bench mountable? Problems, tips techniques?

Vibra Prime?

I bought one a few months back and use it to fill the Hornady LNL AP primer tubes. It sure is easier than using the primer tube pick up method! The primer flip tray that comes with the unit is large enough to hold the entire Federal primer tray.

I cut the "fingers' from the LNL tube and drilled the Vibra Prime i.d. just enough to slip over the primer tube. Much, much easier than picking them up one-at-a-time from the flip tray.

Had one, lost it in a recent move. Am going to buy another soon. Only fault it has is some of them come with casting flashing you'll need to clean up. So a bit of fluff and buff and you're good to go. Good piece of equipment for the dollars.

vibra-prime, that's the one. Is it strickly hand held or can you mount it to a

bench and let it run while doing something else? I hate picking up primers

with pick-up tubes, but I don't want to waste my money either. Not sure If

I'd be happy with this or should I just save up and by the one from Dillon's.

It's pretty quick, but you have to hold it by hand. But is fast enough it's not a big deal and is easy to use. No brand that I know of takes long to fill a primer tube.

I just got one for Christmas and have already loaded over 700 rounds using it, definitely worth the money. I just use the primer tubes that came with it to load my L-n-L progressive. I also tried them in my Rock Chucker and RCBS bench top primer and the fit perfectly. No more need for either the Hornady or the RCBS pickup tubes.
