primers for .223/5.56 and H335

I just finished 1,000 Remington 2 1/2s in my AR.
Sounds like we ain't 'sposed to do that.

Outta that 1k, I had 1 or 2 that were pierced, but that's it.

Had some plain ol dumb luck.
I bought Tula 223 primers on my last order.

How in the world did you get a large pistol primer to fit in 223 brass? That's just no possible so I'm guessing you made a mistake when you wrote the number. Which primers did you actually use?

Interesting read Smitty and runs with what has been mentioned. Especially looking at the cup thickness delta between Remington 6 1/2 and 7 1/2 primers for small rifle.

All of which runs back to what RC mentioned early on.
