Just a theoretical question. I was reading the thread about scarce BP pistols and supplies.
The thought popped in my head that I have more primers than I do caps. I suppose if you fabricated a proper pocketed nipple to accept the primer it could work.
What issues do you see with this? I imagine primer blow out could be a concern, perhaps incorporate a deflector.. or...
