Hello all,
I am thinking about making the foray into reloading. As I was pricing out a RCBS Pro2000 press I noticed that I could buy the press or a deluxe kit with added items. I was using the Natchez Shooting Supply web sight to give me an idea of the cost I would be looking at. That’s when I noticed something a bit odd . . .
RCBS Pro 2000 Deluxe Reloading Kit, part # 88880, $675.61
or
RCBS Pro 2000 Press, part # 88875, ($381.04)
RCBS Trim Pro manual case trimmer kit, part # 90355, ($69.95)
RCBS RangeMaster 750 electronic scale, part # 98927, ($89.95)
RCBS stainless steel dial calipers, part # 87305, ($36.95)
RCBS case lube kit, part # 09335, ($14.95)
RCBS deburring tool, part # 09349, ($14.05)
RCBS hex key set, part # 98975, ($6.28)
Speer reloading manual #13, part # 709511, ($16.95) Total: $630.12
It would seem that buying the items separately would be less expensive or am I missing something? Are there other items than the ones listed in the kit that make it a better deal?
