howdee i am in need of a large priming cup for my projecter press apperently hornady is all out of the large cups. i was thinking of using a standard cup from a lnl classic its the same punch and spring but the cup doesnt have a flange at the base. if someone can provide me with some dimensions of the large primer cup specificly the OD that would be very helpful but the best thing would be if someone had an extra cup for sale that would be the cats meow thanks

Here is a pic of both my small and large primer punch and cups, along with an Excel file with the measurements for the large cup and punch.

Hope this helps.

awesome you large cup is a standard cup and i can guess that it works just as good as the small cup. thanks for the reply , are you using original primer tubes or new ones

I do not use the Projector anymore. I used the original tubes for awhile when I did prime on it, but soon went to hand priming. I do not prime on my LNL either.

If you don't find something that works, let me know. I may (emphasis on may) still have one around. That will motivate me to clean out the drawers and cabinets

just an update i got the new priming cup and it works better than the one that was designed for the projector, i even switched the small cup to the no flange style. these are readily avaliable they are used on the l-n-l classic priming system. i had a few primer messups in the begining but just a few minor adjustments i'm up to 500 without a flaw
