I just received the following COATED bullets for 9mm and 45acp:

147 RN NLG .356
200 RN NLG .45.451

Should I use lead or plated data as a starting point?

I personally start with whatever data is LOWER (usually lead data) and work my load up from there. For me it isn't a safety issue so much as accuracy. The coated bullets I have used in the past usually have their accuracy sweet point at the bottom of the load data.

You use lead data. The coating is just a replacement for the lube. From what I have found is the the Hi-Tech coating is a very slick surface and you will have a velocity gain over std lead bullets.
