I never noticed how wierd this was, but a Mosin M44 looks a lot smaller when it's shouldered

Than it does by it's self.

But an M38 Turk looks bigger when shouldered than when it's by itself...

I live in two basements. One if I head back to my parent's house and one in the apartment I live at. Its a good thing though. Being down here means I have less distance to travel to get to the reloading bench.

Then you get all setup in an extra bed room in your new house to have a gun room and your wife will just complain about it. Then it'll be well I’m pregnant and that going to be the nursery. And you say well I guess the nursery is just going to have a huge safe in it and my computer/reloading counter. And she gets more made and says that you love the "crap" in that room more than me, and that you spend more time in there than with her. And you just have to explain that your not out getting drunk doing drugs and sleeping with hookers. And maybe someday you'll find a happy medium, but for now your at war. :banghead:

Hmm...Atlanticfire,that almost sounds like someone I know and someone I knew...

As to the OP tho'...Interesting observation. I too have stopped every now and then to contemplate such things when I happen to notice them. More often than not it is when compareing some "compact" this or thattothe full size and thinking,man this is not realy that smaller but it is so much more maneuverable or concealable.

Have to say it and Iam sure others will too...They are always loaded.
