I just purchased a Forster original case trimmer and when I use it the knob of the handle unscrews itself.. I cant imagine how nobody else experiences this. Its pointless to trim a case the knob spins off every time Anyone have this experience. I am so frustrated that this happens. Any advice?

You've got me on that one. I've had mine for 30+ years, and it's never done that. You're cranking clockwise, right?

You did take off the rubber bootie and tighten the screw? If that doesn't fix it, the threads might be crossed or end is defective.

Yes I am cranking it the correct way. As the arm spins where the knob is screwed in it spins the opposite direction thus unscrewing it. It boggles me. I am cranking it clockwise of course.. The other way would not cut the case.

I tightened the screw under the boot and it seems to be holding. Thanks
