Problem with Winchester Model 70 Safety Lever?

If you're lost confidence in Winchester, look at the Ruger All Weather. They are not quite as refined, but generally work very well. For a lot less money.

I haven't, even though I feel foolish for admitting that. I just want them to fix it and get it back to my LGS. I'm not going to wait 4-5 weeks, that's for sure. I handled a featherweight today and have decided on that as "backup." Giving Winchester 2 weeks from today to have the EW back to the store, fixed.
