Problems with 9mm CBC brass...

It's not just 9mm. My .45 brass always looks like that, even when I crimp after seating it.

No need to toss out the CBC brass. I keep a few batches of "substandard" brass for shooting at new ranges. If I start getting the stinkeye for picking up my brass, I just shoot the CBC or PMC or mixed headstamp stuff and leave it for the other guys or for the recycler.

My friends like to shoot at this place in the desert where the ground is covered with about 8" of steel cased ammo, broken glass, and tobacco spit. Ick. Great place to leave behind some CBC brass.

My heart breaks a little if I can't find all my winchester brass, but who cares if some of the other stuff gets left behind? Plus it's super easy to restock on CBC brass since it's the cheap stuff they feed the rental guns at most of the ranges in town.

Try some lube. I just loaded up a batch, and with a little Hornady One shot they went in and out of the dies no problem. There were still a few rounds out of 100 which needed a lot of shoving to make it into the case gauge, but they all went in. Almost all slipped in and out. I still think the WIN brass was better...

Amerc brass is great stuff. Next time it snows a lot in your area and you have the buildup of ice when the snow has melted and refrozen, use the Amerc brass in your driveway to help you get traction when you leave to go to work in the morning. :p:p:p
